• Account information: name, email address, and (if you sign in with Google) basic profile information from your Google account.
• Usage data: your queries, chat history, and consultation requests, used to provide and improve the Service.
• Payment data: processed directly by Razorpay, our payment processor. We do not store your full card or bank details.
• Uploaded documents: files you upload for research assistance are stored securely and used only to generate your requested analysis.
• Technical data: IP address, browser type, and device information, collected automatically for security and analytics purposes.

2. How We Use Your Information

• Provide, maintain, and improve the Service.
• Process payments and deliver Expert Sign-Off consultations.
• Send transactional emails (account confirmation, password resets, consultation updates).
• Detect and prevent fraud, abuse, and security incidents.

3. Third-Party Service Providers

We share data only as necessary with:

• Supabase — database hosting and authentication.
• OpenAI — processing your queries to generate AI responses.
• Razorpay — payment processing.
• Resend — transactional email delivery.
• hCaptcha — bot/abuse protection on sign-in and sign-up.

These providers are contractually bound to use your data only to provide services to us, not for their own purposes.

4. Data Retention

We retain your account and query data for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time via Account Settings, or by contacting us.

5. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your personal data, or withdraw consent for optional data processing. Use the Data Export / Account Deletion options in Settings, or contact us to exercise these rights.

6. Cookies

We use essential cookies required for authentication and security, and (with your consent) optional cookies for analytics. See our cookie banner for details and to manage your preferences.

7. Data Security

We use industry-standard measures to protect your data, including encryption in transit, row-level access controls on our database, and restricted access to sensitive systems.

The Service is not directed at individuals under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from minors.
